Our home, is your home.

Our nature centre is the place to be. Whether you're looking for top tips on spotting the local wildlife or an afternoon sheltered from the wild Islay weather, our doors are open wide.

Browse our exhibits, marvel at the aquariums and discover your inner scientist as you make your way around the centre. Children can develop their skills in our laboratory as they dive deeper into nature, or express their natural creativity through pencil, paint or sculpture.

Our centre isn't only for young minds. If you're interested in the facts, our biological records data is available for public use. You can browse maps via our touch screen computer and delve into the analysis of Islay's wildlife. You may also get some ideas on the best locations to view otters, eagles, orchids, butterflies or anything else that you may be interested in.

As well as our extensive biological records, we house a well-stocked library with a wide range of books and periodicals covering all aspects of natural history.
